Even a veteran genealogist may require the services of a professional form time to time. If you live too far away from a particular record source, you may need someone else to go get a copy of that deed at the county courthouse, or visit a special collection at a university library to which you may not have time or money to visit. You may need extensive research in a particular set of records, such as church parish register that may not be on microfilm. Perhaps you are new to research and you need advice as to how to proceed. You may need extensive help in researching a family or group of families in a given county or city over a period of fifty, one hundred, or two hundred years.
